These are the terms for using Fluent at aifluentiv.com and for a Fluent membership. We've kept them short and plain. If anything here is unclear, email hello@aifluentiv.com and ask.

1. Who we are

Fluent is run by {{legal entity}}, {{business address}} ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@aifluentiv.com.

2. What Fluent is

Fluent is an online learning service. Its first programme, Meet Your AI Team, has 30 days. Each day has a short lesson, slides, a ready-made prompt and something for you to make. Days 1 to 3 are free and need no card. Days 4 to 30, and any programmes we add later, come with a Fluent membership.

The lessons teach you to use AI tools made by other companies, such as ChatGPT, Gamma and Canva. We don't own or run those tools (see section 10).

3. Your account

  • You sign in with your email address. There's no password: we email you a link.
  • Keep access to your email account safe. Anyone who can open your email can sign in to your Fluent account.
  • You must be 18 or over to make an account.
  • One account per person. Please don't share your account.

4. Your membership

  • Plans. A membership is monthly or yearly. The prices are shown on the home page, the pricing page and the Day 4 screen before you give us a card. Today they are US$39 a month or US$299 a year.
  • It renews. A membership renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at your plan's price, until you cancel. We charge the card you gave at checkout.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

5. The free trial

  • Your 3-day free trial starts when you begin Day 4 and give a card at checkout. Days 1 to 3 before that need no card and are not part of the trial.
  • Before you confirm, checkout shows the date your trial ends and the amount of your first charge.
  • We email you 24 hours before your trial ends, with the date, the amount and a link to cancel.
  • If you cancel before the trial ends, you are never charged.
  • If you don't cancel, your first charge is taken when the trial ends, and your membership renews from then on.

6. Cancelling

  • Cancel any time in Settings → Billing → Cancel membership → Yes, cancel. There are no retention screens.
  • When you cancel, your membership stops renewing. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for (or the end of your trial). We email you to confirm.
  • Deleting your account also cancels your membership, in the same step.
  • If your payment fails, we'll tell you and give you the chance to update your card. If it still can't be taken, your membership ends.

7. Prices and price changes

  • Founding price. If you joined by 31 December 2026 at the founding price, your price stays the same for as long as your membership continues. Megan: decide whether a founding member who cancels and rejoins keeps the founding price. The copy currently says the founding price ends with the membership.
  • After the founding month, new members pay US$99 a month or US$749 a year.
  • Other changes. If we ever change the price of a membership you already have, we'll email you at least {{price change notice}} before it applies, and you can cancel before then.

8. Refunds

Our refund terms are on the refunds page at aifluentiv.com/refunds. They are part of these terms. They don't take away any rights you have under the law where you live.

9. What you make and upload

  • What you make in the AI tools belongs to you, subject to each tool's own terms.
  • If you upload a show-off to Fluent, you still own it. You give us permission to store it and to show it back to you, and, only if you switch it on, to show it on your public page. You can make it private or delete it at any time, and that permission ends for anything you delete.
  • Only upload things you have the right to share. Only upload photos, voices or recordings of other people if they said yes.
  • Don't upload anything unlawful, hateful, sexual, violent or that invades someone's privacy. We may remove uploads that break this rule.

10. Other companies' AI tools

  • You sign up to each AI tool yourself, on your own account, under that company's terms and privacy policy. We never ask for your passwords to those tools and we never hold those accounts.
  • Those companies set their own prices, free limits and rules, and they change them without telling us. Each lesson shows the date its prices and limits were checked. Check the maker's own page before you pay for anything.
  • Some free plans don't allow business or advertising use. The lessons point this out where we know about it. It's your responsibility to follow each tool's licence.
  • Anything you paste or upload into a tool goes to that company, not to us.

11. AI output

AI tools make mistakes. They can get facts, names, numbers and spelling wrong. Check anything that matters, especially about money, health or the law, with a reliable second source before you rely on it or share it.

12. What we don't promise

We'll do our best to keep the lessons accurate and the site running. We don't promise that Fluent will always be available or free of errors. We don't promise any result, such as a job, a promotion or an income.

13. Our liability

If something goes wrong because of us, the most we will be responsible for is the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it happened. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for anything the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

14. Ending your account

  • You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Your data. It cancels your membership and deletes your data in the same step (see our privacy notice).
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing paid lessons publicly or uploading harmful content. If we do, we'll tell you why. If we close it and it's not your fault, we'll refund the unused part of your current period.

15. Copyright in the lessons

The lessons, slides, prompts and videos are ours. You may use the prompts for yourself and your own work. Please don't copy, resell or publish the lessons, slides or prompt collections.

16. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. If a change matters to you, for example a change to refunds, we'll email you before it takes effect. A change that costs you more never applies to a period you've already paid for.

17. The law

These terms are governed by the law of {{jurisdiction}}. If you live in the UK or the EU, you also keep the protection of the consumer law where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
